Who we are

MetaCare India, Office #101, MetaCare House, Old Padra Road, Vadodara, India. For any privacy question, contact info@metacare.tech.

What we collect

If you send an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, and anything else you choose to put in the message, along with your phone number and company if you give them.

If you register as a member of our technical network, we collect substantially more, because staffing decisions depend on it:

  • Identity and contact — name, email, phone number, date of birth.
  • Location — country, state, city, postal code, address, timezone, and how far you are willing to travel.
  • Professional — trade, skills, years of experience, certifications and their expiry dates, day rate.
  • Documents — resume, certificate scans, identity documents and safety records that you upload.
  • Availability — the dates and hours you tell us you are free, and where you will be.
  • Technical — IP address, browser type, and a record of sign-in attempts, which we keep for security.

Why we collect it

To match you to work. That is the entire purpose of the member network, and every field above exists because it affects whether you are suitable for a given project, or because we are required to keep it for security.

We also use your email to send service messages: verification codes, password resets, availability reminders and project invitations. We only send marketing email if you separately opt in, and you can withdraw that at any time.

Who can see it

Your profile is not public. It is visible to MetaCare India staff who need it for staffing, and access to personal data and uploaded documents is restricted to specific staff permissions and is logged.

Your profile becomes visible outside MetaCare only if you deliberately create a shareable link. That feature is off by default, the link expires, you can revoke it at any moment, and it never exposes your phone number, email, full address, date of birth or identity documents.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

  • Member accounts: for as long as your account is open, and for 30 days after deletion to allow recovery from a mistake.
  • Unverified accounts that are never completed: removed after 12 months.
  • Security and administrative logs: 24 months.
  • Enquiries: 24 months from last contact.

Your rights

You can, at any time and without giving a reason:

  • See your data — export everything we hold about you from Account and security in the member area.
  • Correct it — edit your profile directly.
  • Delete it — delete your account from the same screen. We remove your documents and anonymise your record, retaining only what we are legally required to keep.
  • Withdraw consent — turn off marketing email without affecting your membership.
  • Complain — to us first, and then to the relevant data protection authority if we have not resolved it.

How we protect it

Passwords are hashed and never stored in a readable form. Verification codes are hashed, single-use and expire in minutes. Uploaded documents are stored outside the public web directory and can only be retrieved through an authenticated request that checks whether you are entitled to see them. All traffic is encrypted in transit. Administrative access is protected by two-factor authentication and every privileged action is recorded.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and a security cookie to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. Both are strictly necessary and neither tracks you across other websites. We store your light or dark theme preference in your browser's local storage; that never leaves your device.

Changes

If we change this policy materially we will tell members by email before it takes effect.
